Dillon Morley

A highly experienced barrister and former Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2), now returned to practise at the New South Wales Bar.

Dillon brings 50 years of legal experience, including service as court clerk, law clerk, solicitor, barrister and Judge, and accepts briefs in family law, wills and estates, probate and succession, equity, commercial and contractual disputes, real property, and professional negligence and disciplinary matters.

A legal career spanning every level of practice

Dillon Morley retired from the bench in February 2026 and has now returned as a barrister. His career has included service as a clerk in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, five years as a law clerk at Clayton Utz, twenty-eight years as a solicitor, seven years at the Bar, and seven years as a Judge sitting in family law.

He is also available to accept briefs to fully prepare matters for hearing in Division 2 of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, including conferencing parties and witnesses, detailed advice on evidence, and preparation of affidavits and financial statements.
